We’re making some great changes at River Dance Lodge with the start of the 2010 season!
First, our focus is on offering all-inclusive vacation packages that are a fantastic value. For a group of four it comes to less than $150 per person per day including rustic-luxury accommodations in our hand-crafted log cabins, all meals and all activities. Each day we offer guests the choice of participating in our “Adventure Series” or “Explorer Series.” The Explorer Series is less active and includes excursions to sites of natural, cultural or historical interest along with easy walking. The Adventure Series offers activities such as rafting, hiking, kayaking or biking. Guests choose their desired activity for the next day at an evening meeting with our guides.
The Syringa Café will be open for cabin guests and local residents on a reservation basis only. Each morning breakfast will be served between 7:00 am and 9:30 am. This will be either made-to-order or a buffet, depending on the number of guests. In the evening we will serve a family style dinner with a couple of main entrée choices (see sample menu below). Any guests staying at our cabins that are not part of an all-inclusive package need to make meal reservations either with our office at the time of reservation, or upon arrival at River Dance Lodge no later than the day prior to the desired meal.
The price for breakfast is $9 and dinner is $19. Children under 12 are $6 for breakfast and $12 for dinner. Tax, alcoholic beverages and gratuities are not included.
Lunches are provided on all daily activities. Otherwise, box lunches may be ordered in advance to enjoy in your cabin or take with you if you’re exploring on your own.
May – June Lochsa Season Special
On Friday and Saturday during the Lochsa rafting season of May and June, those rafting with us return to the Lodge sometime between 4:00 and 5:00 pm. For the next couple of hours we show photos from the day’s rafting excitement in the lodge dining area. Beer, wine, other beverages and light appetizers are available during this time. Seating for dinner will be at 7:30 pm.

Appetizers
- Warm goat cheese and roasted red peppers on toast
- Mediterranean Mussels or Clams – Steamed in white wine, lemon garlic, herbs and butter. Served with garlic bread
- Idaho Satay – marinated chicken skewers served with a spicy huckleberry dipping sauce
Entrées – Your choice of:
- Slow roasted choice prime rib
- Grilled wild Alaskan salmon with a wasabi cream sauce
Sides
- Steamed broccoli with slivered almonds
- Fresh garden greens with crumbled blue cheese, dried cranberries and pecans
- Rainbow tortellini in pesto sauce
Dessert
- Homemade huckleberry or blackberry pie a la mode
- Your choice of ice cream
