Our lodge near the Lochsa River in Syringa, Idaho is home to a new wilderness vacation resort in the Rocky Mountains, located just 3 miles from the Lewis and Clark Trail on the banks of the Middle Fork of the Clearwater, one of the original rivers designated "Wild and Scenic" by Congress in 1968. Surrounded by 1.1 million acres of the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness Area, our property is only 90 miles east of Lewiston, Idaho on Hwy 12 with easy fly in access from Missoula, Montana or Spokane, Washington.
We have developed our property at River Dance Lodge to be the ideal adventure resort for families and groups. Our custom-built log cabins overlook the Clearwater River and are the perfect basecamp for those seeking rest and relaxation, as well as for those who want an active rafting, fly fishing, hiking or horseback riding vacation. Our lodge has eight hand-crafted log cabins to accommodate your group or family. You'll find plenty to do in the area, with guided hikes, fly fishing, drift boat fishing, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, canoeing, and kayaking trips offered as adventure vacation packages. Our special Family Adventure Camps are lodge-based vacation packages with activities for all ages. We also have excellent swimming from white sand beaches in the crystal clear waters of the Clearwater, Lochsa or Selway rivers.
At the end of the day, enjoy the ambiance of your own handcrafted log cabin, soak your body in your private hot tub, and enjoy the heavenly view of forested Idaho mountains as you listen to the hum of the gently flowing Clearwater River. |
