idaho kayakingThe River Dance Lodge has multiple rivers nearby and we offer several options for Idaho kayaking. All experience levels are invited for a day of kayaking at the River Dance Lodge.

Beginner/Intermediate:
The Middle Fork of the Clearwater offers flat water kayaking with an occasional Class II-III rapid to keep things exciting. This is a great option for beginners. We use inflatable kayaks, or "Daring Duckies," on the Clearwater, and guests age 5 and up are welcome. Clearwater kayaking trips are available all season. We provide inflatable kayaks, personal flotation devices, and guided instruction. We also have several sit-on-top kayaks available.

Advanced:
lochsa kayakingIf you're an experienced kayaker, with your own gear, and want to join one of our regular whitewater rafting departures, we're happy to arrange the details. The Thunderous Lochsa River is a whitewater kayakers dream come true. ROW Adventures launches daily departures on the Lochsa during its season, typically mid-May to mid-July. The Lochsa is full of Class III-IV+ rapids and is guaranteed to challenge even expert kayakers. Since the Lochsa is an early-season river, you'll love soaking in your private hot tub after a day whitewater kayaking. Lower Selway River kayaking is also available early season.
