We designed our Idaho wilderness lodge and log cabin rentals to be the ultimate outdoor adventure resort. With six handcrafted cabins for rent, each with its own hot tub and expansive front deck, you can enjoy a river view in total privacy and comfort. Four of our log cabin rentals are 2-bedroom lofts that accommodate four to six people. River Dance Lodge also has two duplex cabins for rent. Each duplex unit is a 3-bedroom, 1 3/4-bath cabin that accommodates 6-10. When we envisioned building River Dance Lodge, we wanted to build a legacy resort. A place that would still fit the environment and be flourishing 100 years from now. For this reason we chose to build log cabins, the quintessential architecture of the American West. We wanted to position our resort as one of the finest in the West and certainly the best in our region. You will find the highest quality construction and amenities as a result.
There is a wide variety of quality in log cabin construction. We chose to build hand-crafted cabins from quality, dead-standing lodgepole pines. These are trees that died from natural causes but were still standing when cut which means they were already dry and ready for use. We also chose to have hand-peeled logs as opposed to machine milled logs. If you look closely you'll note the uneven surfaces and quality of the corner joints. Note also there is no chinking as we used a special technique that allows the logs to settle as they shrink. Our cabins, built in 2005, shrunk an average of 5" in height, and are now well-settled in.

Four of our log cabin rentals have two-bedroom and accommodate four to six people. Two others are duplexes, and each side of the cabin has a three-bedroom duplex unit that accommodates six to ten people. These cabins are perfect for groups of ten to 16 or even 20 as you can occupy the entire cabin. Each cabin has a convenience kitchen with a small fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee pot. As well, there is a grill outside. Many of our guests prefer to enjoy their meals at our on-site Syringa Cafe and leave the cooking and clean up to us!

Camping & RVs Each log cabin at River Dance Lodge is decorated with unique personality, has a gas fireplace, and comfortable living room, dining area and sitting area. Every unit is equipped with a small kitchen - with microwave, coffeemaker, dishes and under-counter refrigerator. Be sure to read our Adventure Resort Cabin Policies. 2-Bedroom Cabin Floor Plan: These units comfortably accommodate 4-6 people. Each 2-bedroom has a queen bedroom downstairs and an upstairs loft. The loft has two twin beds that can be put together to form a king bed. Each unit has a futon in the living area, a full bathroom on the main floor, and a private deck with hot tub.  |  | | Downstairs View | Upstairs View | 3-Bedroom Cabin Floor Plan: These units are ideal for groups of 6-10 people. Each 3-bedroom has two queen bedrooms downstairs and a full bathroom. Upstairs is a loft bedroom with a queen bed and a twin trundle bed, and a separate bathroom with shower. There is also a futon in the main living area and a private outdoor hot tub. Each of the 3-bedroom duplex units sleeps 6-10 people, perfect for families and larger groups.
